Thanks to the families that came to our Bilingual Advisory Committee meeting this week!

Every Friday morning in Room K1, kindergarten students look forward to a very exciting social-emotional activity that builds classroom community, kindness, and friendship. Each student takes a turn spinning a wheel with everyone’s name, and whoever the wheel stops on, that person comes to the front of the class and receives a compliment from a classmate!!! The person receiving the compliment then spins the wheel to give a compliment!! Right now, a lot of compliments include “I love your shirt!” and “I love your earrings!”, but as the year progresses students start to find things to say that come straight from the heart ❤️

This week in math, Kindergarten practiced sorting objects by attribute. Today each group worked together to sort connecting cubes and pattern blocks by color.
