Welcome! My name is Mrs. Hegarty, and I’m so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year! I graduated from Coastal Carolina University and hold an ESL endorsement, which allows me to support all learners as they grow in their language and academic skills.

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching 1st grade, 2nd grade, and English as a Second Language (ESL). Each experience has strengthened my passion for helping students build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. In our classroom, we focus on creating a positive, engaging environment where every child feels valued and inspired to do their best.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I’m looking forward to another amazing year of learning and growing together!
