What is the Rising Stars Early College Academy?

This program aims to provide academically prepared high school students an opportunity to concurrently earn an Associate of Arts degree in Social Sciences while also achieving their high school diploma. Classes taken through Brookdale Community College also serve as graduation requirements for the students' high school diploma.

The objectives of the Rising Stars program are to:

• Provide for concurrent high school and community college graduation

• Provide rigorous and engaging instruction

• Create a new pathway to college degree attainment

• Facilitate timely progression through the curriculum

Academically Rigorous 

• Successful students must be able to manage their time well and be responsible for their academics

• Brookdale only communicates with the student

Range of Brookdale Course Delivery:

• Fully online (no live instruction)

• Remote live (live professor via zoom)

• Hybrid (mix of online and live virtual instruction)

• On-campus classes at the Brookdale Lincroft campus
