So proud of these 8th graders for going into seven different classrooms this week to read stories & educate others about food insecurity & how food pantries can help when needed. HUGE thanks to the teachers for signing up for these special guests!

Congratulations to Ximena for receiving 8th Grade Artist of the Month!

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Title 1 March Madness Math event last night. It was a blast! Students enjoyed basketball drills while being challenged through math equations. Way to go Red Raiders! ❤️🤍

Our first set of "Thank You" gifts for The Kids Heart Challenge were delivered on Friday! We are almost at the $1300 mark and our goal is $4,000! Let's do this KCS! Complete Finn's mission and earn an awesome cape!! We've delivered one already, will YOU be next?!

Any Keyport residents get their water bill today? Super excited that my students worked on a project, “Plant This… Not That!” which was aiming to educate residents more about which native species plants they should be including in their landscaping. We have been so fortunate to work with the Keyport Environmental Commission on this project. What an amazing opportunity to give our students some real world experience and exposure! I can't wait to share all of the posts I've been receiving from residents sharing that they received one! 👍🏻

March is Art Month! Throughout this month, I've been sharing videos of our KPCS Artstars in celebration of Art Month. Be sure to check out the latest post on Instagram @Ms.Fleming_kpsd!

March 22nd is World Water Day. Please take a moment to learn more about the importance of this day, and what you can do to make sure everyone has access to clean water.
Tune in to the KCS Scoop, each day for the next week, to learn more. You can also learn how our students can use our access to clean water to stay hydrated and healthy throughout the school day!

What a fantastic way to spend a Saturday celebrating YAM and our talented Keyport Central Art Stars! The AENJ Monmouth County Art Exhibit featured seven of our students in the exhibit! A special thank you to Mr. Flynn and Ms. Manganelli for coming to support our students!

Grateful to have guest speaker, Matthew Fullerton, once again join us to speak to students from KCS and KHS about food insecurity and supply chain challenges. Always so knowledgeable when it comes to our climate grant work. ♻️🌎

Chilly, but productive day in Asbury Park- with the American Littoral Society- planting the dune grass we’ve been nurturing in class for the last few weeks. What a fantastic real world experience for students to be a part of! 🌎
