Our 1st graders in Mrs. Johnson’s class had a wonderful time celebrating their nonfiction writing! Students became young researchers and authors, writing informational books about puffins, river otters, reef sharks, and mandrills. A special thank you to Ms. Heggerty’s 2nd grade class for being such a fantastic audience. They loved listening to our 1st graders read their books and shared their kindness by writing compliment cards for our young authors.

6th grade is reviewing the MP3 Math test today. Students will receive their color score report along with a paper copy of the test. We are reviewing it and taking notes in class, so that students can take it home and study for tomorrow's retake. A pdf of the notes will be posted in our Google classroom as well, just in case students forget to bring it home. Students will keep the better of their two scores (test or retake).
