During recess last week, we got to say hello and check out a Keyport First Aid Squad truck! He even gave us a special honk! The students were so excited to see the truck up close and learn a little about our community helpers!

As part of our CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts) program, our first graders have been learning all about fables and their morals! Today, they brought their learning to life by acting out a fable to demonstrate their comprehension.

We made new friends in PreK!

Pre K loves our Community Helpers ❤️

Third grade is getting creative with Claw Monet! They are designing their own colorful, creative folders. We can’t wait to see all of their unique creations! 🖌️

🌈 Kindergarten had so much fun reading The Day the Crayons Quit! 🖍️ After learning about the different crayons and their personalities, each student created their favorite color crayon. We had so many creative crayons in our art room! 💙💚💛❤️

Kindergarten Is A Family ❤️

We had an amazing first day of 1st grade in Mrs. Johnson’s class! :)

Congratulations and big shoutout to Emery Hye of Keyport Central School for singing the National Anthem at Keyport Borough's Juneteenth event! We are so proud, Emery did a wonderful job! 🎶

1st graders had so much fun creating their very own stuffies! Thank you, Mrs. Fleming, for leading a teacher PD session that allowed me to learn this skill and bring it back to my students.
