Summer reading list: officially unlocked! 📚✨

Finding resources tailored specifically to middle and high school literacy isn't always easy. That’s why I can’t wait to dive into "Reading ISN'T Optional: Fulfilling the Promise of Literacy for Secondary Students" edited by Jeanne A. Schopf.

I'm ready to use this to level up our instructional strategies and PD for next year. Our older students deserve strong, evidence-based support to succeed.

Highlighters are ready—let’s get to work! 🚀📖

Planted with love last year, thriving like absolute bosses this year! 🌿🍓

Look who survived the winter and woke up ready to show off! Our 'Autumn Bride' and strawberry plants from last year's planting are officially living their best lives.

There is seriously nothing sweeter than seeing your garden babies grow into lush, happy green queens.

'Autumn Bride' Heuchera: Filling out so beautifully and getting ready for her big moment.

The Strawberry Patch: Looking incredibly happy, vibrant, and promising some delicious treats ahead!

4th grade science students are learning about external structures of animals. One of our recent lessons was about mimicry and camouflage. My science room has butterflies hiding in plain sight, as inspired by that lesson. So cool! 🦋
