great trip to the Liberty Science Center this week for the 8th graders !

Mrs. Hegarty's class ROCKED the i-ready mid-year assessment! We celebrated their hard work with an award ceremony ❤️

1st graders are hard at work during writing block! Using graphic organizers and writing checklists to plan, write, and stay focused on their goals.




Partner reading in 1st grade! Our readers took turns reading, listening, and helping one another sound out tricky words.



During Large Group, we had a snowball "fight"! Each student received a "snowball" (Crinkled paper), opened it up, read the letter, and then threw another "snowball" to a friend!







7th graders have spent the last few weeks prepping for map quiz! Our final day of prep and we were able to fill in all 31 of the eastern half! Student worked to give clues and help each other!

8th grade had so much fun on their Liberty Science Center trip yesterday!!

I always appreciate when Keyport Schools BOE Member, Mr. Fotopoulos stops by to speak to my Community Partnerships students about the vital importance of volunteering and how personally rewarding this important work can be!

Second grade published their first book about the Ancient Greek Myths. They did an amazing job! ❤️



6th Science- today we learned about the coriolis effect and what happens as the Earth spins.

Today, the 5th graders took a few minutes to visit the 7th graders in Social Studies to see how much fun Middle School can be.
