So thankful to have Meredith Comi, from the Urban Coast Institute (part of Monmouth University), return to speak to our 5th grade students about her work with oyster castles at Naval Station Earle. We loved how she connected her presentation to our deep oyster industry history right here at the Pearl of the Bayshore!!



A little snow isn't stopping our classroom basil! The kids said the room smells like pizza!

Big thanks to Mrs. Corsale for teaching our class about kindness and reading them the book Rainbow Fish. They loved making their own fish and showing ways to be kind!!

In preparation of the snowstorm, last week we made snowmen with a variety of materials and discussed proper clothing to wear in winter.




Kindergarten students have been learning lots of new "tricky words" in our CKLA skills curriculum. Students practice these new words by writing them, reading them, and building them with play-doh.
