What a productive three hours 👍🏻Thanks to Dr. Savoia, Mrs. Harrigan, CJ, and our amazingly enthusiastic and convincing NJHS students we had a productive day today and collected a large amount of cereal boxes and monetary donations. Thank you to all who donated and thank you parents for allowing these phenomenal young people to shine and represent Keyport Schools so well. ❤️🖤❤️ Our event will be this Friday, so there is still time to donate!!
So much fun at the KCS Book Swap today! Grades PreK-5th swapped 104 books! Thanks for helping the environment by reusing books (Fewer trees cut, less waste in landfills, & energy saved on transportation) in a way that was exciting! 📚

The National Junior Art Honor Society is fully engaged in creating an art installation for Brookdale Community College titled "The Art of Dialogue," aiming to educate students about global issues and how their actions can drive positive change.
Our phenomenal NJHS crew, 29 members strong!!- hard at work preparing to help launch (can’t wait to see the promotional video they rehearsed in the hallway👍🏻) and assist with the upcoming Kids Heart Challenge in April.

Food insecurity climate unit continued in Community Partnerships this week. After background work, students were given family scenarios & were asked to identify issues, challenges, and possible solutions for each group. The discussions were so meaningful & interesting!
Our Climate Grant Team took our KCS and KHS students to Jenkinson's Aquarium and had a fabulous time discussing climate issues and how they impact various animals and sea creatures. So proud of our students for being actively engaged learners and critical thinkers. And, hey we had lunch, and a lot of fun too! Who doesn't love hanging with a penguin?! 🐧😊
