Congratulations to Lauren for receiving 7th grade Artist of the Month!

Kindergarten students used playdoh to make squares and triangles out of horizontal and vertical lines! Our CKLA Skills curriculum starts off by teaching students to practice prewriting strokes that will later prepare them for properly forming both uppercase and lowercase letters.

Walked in this morning and was so surprised to see the ceiling tiles our Art Club and NJAHS painted all installed! They look amazing, so proud of our talented students!

Welcome back to school!

Our 7th graders turned tradition into ART! Their sugar skull drawings for Hispanic Heritage Month are bold, bright, and breathtaking!

Colonial posters being made by 5th graders!

Chubbs is enjoying his time in the library.

Creating Heart Maps to inspire personal narrative writing in 6th Grade ELA.

Thank you to our NJHS members (Jackson, Lucy, Brenda, Holly, and Isabella) for giving their time and positive energy towards helping to make Back to School Night a success. We are fortunate to have such wonderful student leaders at Keyport Central School.

Welcome from Science Class!!

It was so nice seeing everybody at Back To School Night! I am looking forward to another great school year!
Kindergarteners hard at work!

Come see all our hard work! Back to school night starts at 6:00-Hope to see everyone there!

The Keyport Central School pollinator garden is buzzing with life, pollinators!

Today we talked about the 9/11 attacks and how it brought out our patriotism as a country. Some students showed their patriotism by wearing red, white and blue.

We watched "Boat Lift" a short documentary about amazing local boat captains using their talents to make a difference during 9/11. We pledged to participate in a small act of kindness today for "I Will for 9-11 Day" -a way to use our service to honor those we lost.

Thanks to our maintenance team and our climate grant, we have a cool new gadget! This has lights, cameras, and WiFi -oh my! I can't wait to share this with our students!!

Our beautiful garden bench is all constructed, thanks to our maintenance team!! Our 8th Grade Climate Grant Student Leadership Team donated it after winning a $750.00 contest teaching others about the dangers of single use plastics!

Having fun exploring the areas in Pre-K!
