Today in Life Skills, we took a working break and had some fun with an Alphabet Scavenger Hunt! It was a great way to get moving, think creatively, and practice teamwork.

The Honors English II class is getting ready to read The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. They researched related topics to provide context for the book and gave presentations to their classmates.

A little rain and traffic could not keep your district supervisors from a great PD opportunity. Looking forward to diving deeper into i-Ready today! Mrs. Gross and Ms. Buttacavole are ready to learn!

Dean Wesley at his happy place! Cape May New Jersey!
Much like Keyport, Cape May has many historical locations you can visit. Pictured here is the concretes ship Atlantus. Due to a critical shortage of steel, during World War I, the federal government turned to an experimental design of making concrete ships. Only 12 of the concrete ships were ever put into service.
For over 90 years, just off Sunset Beach, in Historic Cape May Point, New Jersey, this ship now serves as a natural reef/resting place for birds.
Go out and see your local history whenever you can!
