It is hard to believe spring break is coming to an end. Tomorrow we will all return to school. Please be aware of the following:
The storms last week impacted the internet at KHS and the BOE office. Therefore, in the event of an emergency, we ask that you contact the Central School main office at extension 2000. Please also rely on email as a source of communication. KHS staff should anticipate additional communication from Mr. Waters.
In addition, we wanted to inform you about an exciting celestial event happening tomorrow-a Solar Eclipse. All classrooms will have age appropriate discussions and/or lessons regarding this phenomenon. Safety is our first priority and while this is a historic event, we ask that you speak with your child about being cautious during the eclipse. At no time should anyone look directly at the eclipse without protective eye gear. Sunglasses will not
provide sufficient protection. Students will also remain indoors beginning at 2:00 PM and any after school events will be canceled or held inside. We hope you support this learning opportunity by discussing this event with your child.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
