Keyport Public Schools is proud to partner with mental health providers to offer counseling during school hours. Please speak with your child's school counselor to determine which organization is best for you and your child.

Integrated Care Concepts: Located in Tinton Falls, NJ Integrated sends a mental health counselor to both KHS and KCS once a week. Referrals can be made through your child's school counselor.

Community YMCA: YMCA of the Jersey Shore offers mental health counseling to students. They send counselors to KHS and KCS but can also accomodate counseling outside of school at the family's preference. Referrals can be made through your child's school counselor.

New Partnership: Hazel Health

We are proud to partner with Hazel Health to expand access to mental health counseling and support services for our students.

Through Hazel Health, students can meet one-on-one with a licensed therapist from the convenience of school or home (with parent/guardian consent).

How It Works

• Virtual counseling sessions with licensed therapists

• Available 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

• Accessible from school or home

• Available to all students, regardless of insurance coverage or immigration status

Support May Include:

• Improving communication and confidence

• Building healthy friendships and relationships

• Developing coping skills to manage emotions

• Navigating academic stress and pressure

How to Get Started

• School staff may initiate a referral

• Parents/guardians may request services directly

• Parent/guardian consent is always required
