I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Ms. Tamme Manganelli, and I am taking on a new challenge this year as an elective teacher for an exciting new middle school course called, "Community Partnerships".

This is my thirtieth year at the Central School.  Prior to that, I attended Rowan University where I received my BA for Teacher of the Handicapped.  I hold certificates to teach Special Education, Elementary Education K-8, Reading K-8, and The Wilson Reading Program. I also earned a Master’s Degree in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College in 2002. Additionally, I earned my Supervision Certification, from Rowan University, in 2018. Most recently, I was trained, over the course of eight days, to implement the Responisve Classroom philosophies our school district has adopted by completing both Elementary and Advanced Elementary Courses.  I was most honored to be named Keyport's Teacher of the Year in 2004. At school, I am a member of the Intervention and Referral Services Team, I am a dyslexia screener, and I sit on many committees including ScIP/DEAC, School Improvement, and Title I Stakeholders.  During my free time, I enjoy reading, golfing, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family.

I am very enthusiastic about my position and my mission is to assure that your child will gain the tools needed to conquer the academic, social, and emotional challenges he/she faces each day.

I believe that a positive and safe classroom environment will instill a love of learning in your child.  I also believe that positive thinking and organization will help your child achieve his/her goals.

I am excited to work closely with the entire staff this year as we work to build our "community". Most of all, I am highly motivated to work with the entire Keyport Community this year. I look forward to many rewarding experiences.  I will be in contact with you throughout the year to alert you about your child’s progress.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.  I hope we can work together to achieve your child’s goals because your involvement will make all of the difference.
