In an effort to help you to learn a little about me, here is a mini-bio for you.  The Jersey Shore is the place I will always call home, though it was not always my home.  I was born, and lived in the Poconos (Pennsylvania) until I was 4 years old.  My family relocated to Ocean County, and I have called the Jersey Shore home ever since.  This is where I grew up.  I attended, and graduated from, Monsignor Donovan High School (now called Donovan Catholic) in Toms River.  From there, it was off to The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College).  At TCNJ, I was a physics major with a focus on secondary education.  Teaching has not always been my life.  While in college, I was a restaurant manager. Upon graduating from TCNJ, but prior to my teaching career here, I worked in the music industry for 2 years as a promotions and marketing director.  I've been at Keyport High School since 2003.  In 2012, I was selected Keyport High School's Teacher of the Year.  I'm looking forward to the challenges that this year, my eighteenth year, will bring, and to challenge you, my students.  I wish you all the best of luck throughout the year!  The best advice that I can give any of you is that if you push yourselves, you might just be pleasantly surprised by the outcome.  Always strive for the best.  Never settle!
