Extendicare Drop-In ProgramThis program is for families that require intermittent morning care and/or afternoon care. This program requires the completion of a full registration packet and a full registration fee for each child. Days of attendance for the drop-in program must be given at least 24 hours in advance via e-mail. There will be no refund for unused coupons. Coupons expire at the end of each school year.Drop-in Coupon Rates

Coupons expire at the end of the school year. Registration Fees (Yearly):
First Child: $65.00
2nd child and each subsequent child: $45.00
Payment Policies and Procedures
Upon registration we require the registration fee and one month’s deposit. The deposit and the registration fee are non-refundable and not prorated. A 1 month notice is required when exiting the program or your deposit will be forfeited. Your initial deposit will be applied to your last month of enrollment with the required 1 month notice.
Payment for your first month will be due on the 1stof that month. Any scheduling changes must be made prior to the start of a new month. Your monthly payment must be received no later than the 5th of each month. A $25.00 late charge per child enrolled will be assessed and applied for any payment received after the 5th. A $50.00 late fee per child enrolled will be assessed and applied for after the 20th of each month.
Payments can be made by cash, check, or money order.

-Please be sure to reference your child’s name on your payment.
-Cash payments can only be made at the center.

NSF Checks will result in a $25 charge and require payment with cash or money order for the remainder of the year.
The program closes promptly at 6pm. The Late Pick up fee is $25 for the first 15 minutes after 6pm and an additional $25 for every 10 minutes thereafter. This policy will be strictly enforced.
Enrollment: Students can be enrolled throughout the school year. Please be reminded that tuition and registration fees are not prorated. Tuition is based upon an average of days per month, allowing payments to be consistent. Enrolling after the 1st of the month will still require the full monthly tuition.Scheduling: Your child’s schedule is set at the beginning of the month. For example, if you choose a three day schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and school is closed on Wednesday, you may not choose Thursday instead for that week. With notice, you may add a day for an additional fee.
-Written notice of a scheduling change must be given prior to the beginning of a new month. Your child’s schedule will remain consistent for any subsequent month of enrollment if no change is noted.-Extendicare is not available on early dismissal days or during the mornings of a delayed opening.
-Children will be permitted to attend after-school activities and then return to the Extendicare program.
Illness: School rules apply. Children are not permitted to attend Extendicare if ill. This includes a heavily running nose, heavy mucus discharge, a heavy cough, pink eye symptoms, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, etc. You are required to have an alternate plan for pick up in case of illness.
Inclement Weather: You are required to have an alternate plan for pick up in case of inclement weather during after care.
Allergies: If your child has allergies, extendicare must be informed in writing. Please provide an EpiPen if needed.Homework: Children will complete their homework at the Extendicare program unless requested otherwise. We will rely on the homework planner and the children’s honesty when assessing their daily homework. If a child refuses to complete their homework assignments, the extendicare teachers will not be responsible that it is incomplete.
Snacks: Afternoon snacks are provided by the Extendicare program. We encourage students to bring in a snack each day. Snacks are not shared. However, it is critical that any allergies are disclosed so that the proper precautions are taken during our snack time.
Reading: We have a required reading time each day. Please send in a book appropriate for your child’s level and interest.
Personal Belongings: We require that all personal belongings brought into the program be labeled with the child’s name. Extendicare is not responsible for damaged or lost personal items.
Outdoor play: We have an outdoor recess period each day (weather permitting). Please remember to have the students prepared for outside play and that close-toed shoes are recommended.
In addition, all school rules and policies apply to the Extendicare program.
