• The Student Assistance Counselor (SAC) provides assessment, individual and group counseling, prevention education, and referral services to any student who is experiencing personal, family and/or peer difficulties. The program offers a wide variety of school-based services designed to support students and prevent social, emotional and family difficulties from disrupting their education.

    WHAT ARE SOME OF THE ISSUES REFERRED TO THE SAC?

    If you or someone you know is experiencing any of the following, please make a referral to the Lindsay Thein, Student Assistance Coordinator (SAC)
    Remember referrals are kept confidential
     
    • Alcohol, drug, and/or tobacco issues
    • Depression
    • Thoughts of hurting self
    • Thoughts of hurting others
    • Family Issues
    • Peer and or relationship issues
    • Stressed/Over-worked
    • Thoughts of running away
    • Drop in grades
    • Frequent lates or absence from school
    • Information, referrals, and support for many confidential issues
