In the month of October, we will continue with our small moment narrative writing.  Working with letters and sounds will be done in Fundations.  We will explore the work of Tomie dePaolo as well as visit some narrative non fiction and non fiction books.  In Math, we will continue with addition and subtraction strategies. Graphing will also be practiced.  Our focus on citizenship and government will come to a close and we will begin to explore some geography.  Of course, we will also learn about and have fun with some monthly holidays.
